just so i dont take over the antm topic everytime i wanna bitch about this!

so YES im still watching it. if i try and shut off the enormous differences from the books then i can kind of enjoy it. it maybe be reasonably crappy but im a whore for bad teen tv shows Razz

so has anyone who watches it & has read the books noticed a certain someone is missing?! you know...the girl who made it so that it was just 100% snobby rich kids?! WHERE THE HELL IS VANESSA?! If they do bring her in, it's kind of unlikely she'll be the same, you know, shaved head, combat boot wearing movie girly.

and to sum up points i made before...
*Jenny is TOTALLY DIFFERENT! in the book she's a short brunette with cute curls and MASSIVE boobies, which is what makes her stand out and hence contributes to a storyline which appears in the books.
*Dan is totally different too. He's all brooding and a poet and smokes tonnes. And I just don't feel the same about him.
*Serena was meant to be stunning. OK hard to find a girl to fit that so I can deal but she was meant to be a bit more free spirited and stuff.
*Eric is meant to be older than Serena, not younger, which again rules out a later storyline, unless they still do it but it might be wierd.

I've been reading IMDB boards and apparently someone has been hired to play Vanessa...this girl She's not on the cast list but that's from the premier party. Yes...she really fits the image of Vanessa the book creates. I wonder if they will shave her head. Even if they use the power of editing or whatever to do it...

so yeh...hows anyone else finding it? Razz

I know it's reeeeeally bad but yes I will keep getting it every week. I kind of enjoy it Very Happy

i've never read the books so don't have anything to compare it too, but i like it! i'm an addict to all these rich kids and private schools tv shows.

the guy that plays nate is sexy, especially when he's out jogging and all hot and windswept! hahaha

annnd, when i was on imdb the other week, i saw that guy chucks actor is like british? or was born here anyway. he scares me!

Grrr I'm pissed. I keep trying to watch last weeks episode in different places online and on one of them it won't play and the other it kept freezing on one scene for 5 minutes at a time but I could still hear the talking!

Then last night I was accually home by the time it was on and wtf they showed a rerun of the first episode!

oh crap. have you tried looking for it on veoh?
youll need to download veoh tv to watch it on but you'll be able to watch tonnes of stuff on it.
