My parents let me get it done on friday!
It was my first professional stuido piercing.
anyway, pictures. :]]

also, does anyone know a good way to clean it?
the piercer said to use this stuff called "Dragon Mist" on it twice a day, but i don't see how that would clean it too well.
:]

I like it, tis radness. although, I havent the slightest idea what you should care for it with, except epsom salts.

and in that second pic, is that a old navy top?
I'd recognize one from a mile away.

i got told to use salt water...i think. i did for my lip.
i had claires stuff left over from my lobes which i used.

Quote :
Sea Salt Soaks

After completing the above process, you can perform your sea salt soaks either in or out of the shower. First, fill a fresh disposable cup with approximately 8 ounces of water and add teaspoon of sea salt, stirring until it is dissolved. When ready, either place the cup over the piercing--forming a vacuum-type seal--or dip the piercing into the cup. If either of these techniques are not possible, pre-soak a fresh tissue, cotton-ball, swab, or square in the sea salt solution and firmly press it on your piercing. In order to promote effectiveness, the first sea salt soak should last at least 10 minutes. All additional soaks should last at least 5-10 minutes. Following the sea salt soak, pat your piercing and jewelry dry with a fresh disposable paper or cotton product.

thats what google told me. Razz

be careful with it. i got mine with a bar right away and regret it. it's still scabby and gross now and bleh so im gonna put 2 in it for a while.

it'll hurt to sleep on and be SO careful about brushing your hair, tho yours is shorter than mine is Razz

i still don't understand why you'd get it pierced with the one piece of jewellery! makes no sense!

salt soaks two or three times a day.
dissolve 1/4 a tea spoon of sea salt in a cup of boiling water. leave it to cool a little. soak your ear in the solution for 5/10 mins..or if thats too awkward, it will do just to clean the crusties away with a cotton bud dipped in the solution.

don't pick the crusties off with your fingers and don't touch it unless youve washed your hands with antibacterial soap.

thats the method of cleaning piercings that most studios will give you. but if your too lazy to do that then you can use contact lense solution (as thats basically salt water) or you can buy solution thats specially made up for cleaning piercings (but i think thats a waste of money since you are just paying for what is esentially salt water).

oh, and it looks lovely, you really suit it Smile
