MAKEUP CONTESTS?

Maybe I'm wrong but on the old forum didn't you guys used to have themes where everybody would do their makeup as a theme and then there was a winner (just for fun of course)? You should do that again it'd be fun...and maybe make some of us experiment a little bit more with certain colors, or techniques.

oh yeah, we used to have contests, but it was REALLY unorganized. keeks may have to go over it first, and it may have to be a sticky in glam or something. it was bonkers, haha.

Yeah, we used to do that, but nobody ever entered, so I think that's why we pretty much gave up on it.

Everyone said they wanted it, but never did it.

and how was it not organised?
i put a lot of work into it and everyone was all yehaw makeup contests and then noone entered.
it was crap. seriously...totally pissed me off at the amount of effort i put in, along with shoho and then noone entered.

i dont think it would hurt to maybe have a makeup theme every so often but no way contests...that was too much bullshit and work for nothing.

Yeah I thought it was crap that EVERYbody said they wanted it, and was all into it, then never entered. Even made banners, and put all that work into it.

I think i entered all except one? but only a few others did, too.

i think theres nowt wrong with themes...but like fuck im doing a contest again.

also i dont see the point...because quite honestly, the same people won every week didnt they? pretty much.
if Amanda entered, she would do well, if Leesha entered, she'd win...wasnt that much of a contest. The forum is quite small in comparison to some so its just pants to do it.

but yeh i dont see any harm in having a topic on the glam section with 2 or 3 themes a which get changed every month or so..and we have the photobucket thing dont we? somewhere? lizzybum did one...so we can upload old "entries" there and clean the topic out when it changes theme.

Yes I really think we should do a theme thread , that way theres really no work to put in to it.

We should stick to like only 2 themes a month or something. That'd be cool....and something to do when we're all complaining about insomnia and boredom LOL!
