OK I NEED TO ASK:
some reeeally new members, who i personally dont know very well have said they want to join in...are you guys ok with this? i mean, no offence but i wouldnt want to swap with someone who is really new on the forum and who i dont really know...also i think the advantage of saying something like having so many posts means that you have an idea of what the person is like...whereas i wouldnt know what to send someone who hasnt really posted a lot.

but maybe that's just me...what do you guys think?

also this is open until FRIDAY THE 20th OF JULY TO PUT YOUR NAME DOWN!
I think we should start getting going after that.

On the last forum swap I did, I think we had to have 30-50 posts...or something like that, i don't really have a problem with the much newer members joining in but what about the members that never really post that have been here a while.
I'm not sure if we have anyone like that wanting to participate, but I kind of think if they can join in so should the newbies...if they have certain # of posts

I hope that made any sense, and if the idea is shit please forgive me, this is just what I think.

i mean i think...was the swap you did based on something like a theme? because i think with ours...you kind of have to know the person...like idk brittni is kind of new, but i would have an orite idea of what to send her...whereas some who have <50 or so posts...i dont feel i know them very well. also, not saying they would but id be a bit more sus of someone who hasnt been here long and who i dont know...like id honestly trust, say you, but i dont want problems with people...im just being careful i guess. i mean im not entirely comfortable with it but i wanna know what others think because it's obviously not just me.

also im gonna direct you guys to another post in the "admin" section (im gonna go change it to the administration section because its not very announey...) because it's not a suggestion but its to do with organising this thing.

the swap i did was for christmas and it was DIY...but we had a seprate thread for people to list like clothing sizes...stuff they liked or wanted, colors and what not, our limit was $25 i think

but yeah...i really think we should go by number of posts or how active with the newer people...and you should come up with the guidlines for that

some people post more in some subs than others so that's where it becomes hard to decide...imo

Hey, I'm new and I understand what you are saying ... I really love the idea and that's why I asked if it was possible for me to join ... but if you all think that better not ... it's fine for me ... It's kind of normal that you trust members who have been here much longer.

I just like giving gifts and such, and since I'm from Belgium I can maybe get stuff that others can't... Also it's a 2waystreet , if I may participate in this, I don't know anyone of you that well either so ...

Maybe for newbies it's a way to get you all better ...

If I'm not allowed now, I just hope that it will be a succes and that I can join the next round. You won't have any problems =D I totally understand.

I don't know if what I said will help ... but here you have a newbie's point of view.

yeh idk i just think if someone shows activity on the forum...then thats good but some people just dont post a lot and whether its shyness or what...idk i hust think like maybe membership for 2months plus over so many posts might be good...

but im about to make a topic (got distracted) with basics like favourite colour, anything they like, dont like, would offend them....so interesting little facts....
