Did you make them put it on you in store, Jenn? That's really the best way to try it out (though I guess you can take stuff back in the US so it's not a huge problem). There are numerous reasons, though- I know that at least here, to be a part time employee at MAC you don't need any training, just like you don't need any at other retail stores. It could also be lighting (although that's a cop out), and different types of foundations run in different colours.

In Moisturecover I'm NW20, in anything else I'm a NW15 or lighter. It varies a lot.

I'm another one waiting to hear how Studio Tech goes for you. Apparently it's really great for people with dry ass skin like mine, or for the glooowww.

And Kendra, I always have them try it out in store but for some reason each MUA reccomends a different color.

I think I finally got it right though with the Studio tech. I'll post a review this saturday since I'll have been wearing it for a week and will know for sure how my skin really reacts to it.
