| I don't know if it's been mentioned, but my sister swears by Urban Decay Primer Potion. And as Madeira said--Minerals are good. I use Physicians Formula loose powder and LOVE it. It keeps me shine free for most of the day. It's even good on dry skin--my mom uses it without foundation and it evens out her skin tone, and makes her wrinkles less noticeable. They have matte and shimmery bronzers and blush, too. _________________

| HI LADIES. I hate to bump this thing again, but after strenuous hunting, I'm STILL on the hunt for a decent bronzer.
Since this topic opened, I've wholeheartedly switched to UDPP and Cargo's primer. I've also found the PERFECT blush - which is Cargo's blusher in Rome. And the mini brush set I've got my eyes on is TF's Teddy Bear Brush Set. Its beyond adorable. Also, I'm no longer worried for a kabuki, since I have easy access to many decent ones. But I can't understand why I can't find a good bronzer!
I've tried bunches - Cargo's bronzer in Dark is in NO way dark - well, not on me, since it blends into my olive-y medium skin. I have a great gel bronzer, but I can't achieve the effect I'm really looking for. And mozaic bronzers just don't do the trick for me. So the floor is still open!
If you guys can recommend what you think would be a dark enough bronzer for me, I'd really appreciate it - you'd be doing me a huge favour! _________________

| Have you looked at Tarte or Make Up For Ever? Aromaleigh would let you buy a sample before getting a full-sized.. _________________ Midnight Sun

| MUFE I haven't looked at! I don't have easy access to them or Tarte, but I'll def check their sites. But man...I swatched Cargo's Dark on my hand AND in my contour, and it was nothing I could use. Thoroughly disappointed. Take out the shimmer, and I'd have a damn face powder. And UD's bronzers are also too light for me. Tearrrr.
It'll be pretty hard for me to order online too, but I'll hunt best I can! _________________

| DP: Lisbeth, I checked out both brands, and the one that appealed to the the most was MUFE's Mat Bronze in Earth 6 [darkest shade according to Sephora website]. The price tag, however, has got me reeling - especially since I'm not able to test it. However, it does look very promising, and if I had the opprotunity, I'd def try it out. Thanks for the tip! _________________

| It's all according to my grand master plan, to have everyone addicted to MUFE like I am. Mwahaha! _________________ Midnight Sun

| An evil master plan, since I've no access! If I got this Dillard's job, I'd have asked the rents to take me to Sephora [its a 3 hour drive away] after my first few checks, but it looks as if that may not happen. No Kat Von D or Philosophy for Puff. _________________

| I'd say order it and test it and if it doesn't work, return it, but I don't think they'd accept a return once it's been tested. Bastards. Heh, I could drive out sometime next week, swatch the MUFE next to the Cargo Dark, and show you the difference.. but I'm a ghost, and I dunno how much that would help you. _________________ Midnight Sun

| That would actually be great of you, since its easy for me to tell what would work and what wouldn't, even on a pale skintone. Its very hard for me to tell on websites [ie, on the UD website, all the shades are actually darker than what they appear to be]. If I know that the colour and formula is good, I'd be more than happy to plunk down the cash. I really have no way of ordering, but I'm sure I'll figure SOMETHING out. _________________

| Like having dear Lizzy pull what she did with Lil and buy it to ship to you? Wait. I did that with you first. Aha! I think we have a plan.. I'll try to get out there between Sunday and Tuesday.. I only work 10 hours next week. I'd be able to get the swatches, take pictures with my camera(yay, a reason to use MY camera, not mom's!), and get that to you. _________________ Midnight Sun

| Hee, I didn't know you had a cam! YAY. I should have gotten swatches of the Cargo blusher I picked [two shades, actually]. They look SO much better in person. The most beautiful iridescence to them. And their Eyebronzer? That stuff is great. The smudger is sooo soft.

And wow, I totally forgot about that. This reminds me, I have to send out my packages. Once mum gives me the money, I'll buy some padded envelopes and pay postage and all that good stuff. We're actually moving next week, too - I think that's when the check arrives! Let's hope. _________________

| YES. YOU SHOULD. Jerry keeps asking me why I'm not sewing - and its cos I can't! I don't want his $80 to go to waste!
Many thanks on the swatches - you're the bestest! _________________
