| Lemme just say.
TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!
Jesus. I just downloaded it, and jeeze. Its so... boring. I absolutely hate it. I loved the second half of their first CD, and was hoping they'd go in that direction, but nope. They sound like a bad underground indie band. I can understand them wanting to change, but I mean come on... Stick to your roots kids. I can honestly say I love nine in the afternoon, and was so excited to hear the rest of the cd. Yeah no other song compares. The songs are all so different. They mesh in no way. Total complete waste of my time. Ugh x 10! I'ma go listen to the 2nd half of their 1st cd and sulk.

| I've heard that it does suck. Other people love it though. I tried to listen to it on MTV.com earlier but it wouldn't work D: I think I must go and download. _________________ ..

| But Nine In The Afternoon rocks! It's actually really similar to their old stuff IMO. _________________ ..

| Yeah for real. Nine in the afternoon reminds me of a vintage musical. I fell in love the first time I heard it. BUT BLAHH. Rest of the album is like folk music galore. They've been quoted saying they want to be the new radiohead. Ha. HA. HAHAHAHA. They just fucked themselfs. _________________

| I hate Nine in the Afternoon, so I didn't even bother trying to listen to any of the other new songs. I loved all the old stuff though. _________________

| Did any of you watch them on SNL? They were pretty good. They did an old song as their 2nd, it was great. _________________

| I heard their album like once at my bfs cos he bought it the day it came out, i didnt think much of it, i mean i wanted panic at the disco not a substandard beatles cover band and lets face it that is what they are becoming with this album. The song that ryan sings is over edited to sound exactly like the beatles I mean you cannot tell me that he really sings like that! Olly however says it is growing on him and that some of them are really good, I only liked about 3 of the songs on the entire album. Its a shame because i adored them when i saw them live and was really excited about their new album. Its just not as witty as their last album and i was quite annoyed when they were on the cover of a magazine saying 'weve grown up and we hope our fans have too' last time i checked singing about the sun and moon falling in love drinking tea doesnt strike me as grown up, a commentary on a corrupt town and a dirty motel is slightly cleverer i would say.

| well I actually like the record, but not all of it. The slower songs are just TOO mellow and just boring
the thing is with this record is you have to completely forget what they've previously done because they've gone in a completely different direction.
Just imagine they were a new band you've never heard of, and I think you'll enjoy it so much more, I know I did, because when I first listened to it I was like "WHERE THE FUCK IS THE BIG BEAT/TECHNO/CABARET/PUNK STUFF????" but yeah these are my favorite songs so far:
