Cover Songs!

I like a lot of older pop songs, but it is my opinion that a lot of them get better with a bit of remixing done to them! Me First and the Gimme Gimmes is a great cover band, and have done many covers.. Here's their newest cover: Danny's Song.

Mm... I like their version of Love Will Tear Us Apart.

I can't think of any other covers I really like. Oh, wait, Orgy's Blue Monday.

Do y'all see a pattern emerging here?

(New Order, the original band that did Blue Monday had members in it from Joy Division, who originally did Love Will Tear Us Apart)

It's quite a cool song, actually. I dig it Very Happy

Reminds me of a more synthy Skinny Puppy.

Edit: Can't believe I forgot to add Nightwish (less Tarja/Annetes) version of Pink Floyd's 'High Hopes'.

I'm generally not a Disturbed fan because... well, they're a wee bit shit, but their Land of Confusion cover is pretty good too.

Laibach does a very INTERESTING version of Final Countdown too...its kind of funny.

Disturbed also covered Shout by Tears for Fears.

Anyone remember "puttin on the ritz" by that one 80s guy? lol, it was actually a cover of some 20s song.

Everclear did a few covers, not great ones, but still. They covered Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison and Jesse's Girl.

I think Green Day did a Satricial cover of Eye of the Tiger.

And anyone that wants something VERY different, look up The Wurzels, and their cover of the Oasis song "Don't look back in anger."

My favorite cover song is Atreyu's version of You Give Love a Bad Name

I also like Sugarcults cover of I Melt With You and Amber Pacific's cover of Video Killed The Radio Star
