| So my Boat Dance is this saturday, which is our formal dance out on a boat with a dance floor. It's so much fun, but I'm so nervous. Anyways, hair and makeup..
I found this dress that I really like from Nordstroms that I got:
And shoes:
So, any makeup suggestions? I was trying to stray away from blue cause that's just... weird... but arrrghhh. Maybe a HOT red lip?

| why not purple? or even neutrals? I dont think makeup has to really be "out there" with this outfit. just enhance what you have, and have a pop of colour with the eyes. and why not wear that one bourjois gloss you have? that pink one that reminds me of a soda bottle? it would be so pretty. :]

| exactly! you have purple in your dress, so it would be pretty pulled together. you can even do a flick of liquid liner to make it snazzy. that would just be too rad.

| hehe, i'll get pictures for you girlies.  and yeah - the boats scary, especially when kids come semi-drunk and they can't stand up to save their lives. walking on land while drunk is hard enough, let alone on a boat! hehe.

| I think berry stained lips would look really awesome coz they match your dress and a simple eye to match.

| Personal thing: I get quite weirded out seeing young girls in dark dark lips. I'm not old fashioned or anything (... obviously  ), it always just surprises me.
I love both Puffy's and Jess's suggestions. If it were me I'd go with the berry lips, I think it would look so pretty with your super girly dress.
