So I'm Ali (bet you didn't guess that) and I randomly found this forum while looking for cake recipes. I lurked around for a week or so and decided to join.

I live near Ayr in Scotland and go to university in Glasgow. I study Biomedical Sciences (basically lots of biology and chemistry), which really is as geeky as it sounds!

Despite being the biggest tomboy on the planet, I have a bit of a make up obsession. I also like books, comics, music, films, making stuff and talking absolute nonsense!

BTW, I never did make those cakes...
