So I'm not much of a painter. I do a lot of drawing but I wanted to make some paintings for my new room. Thing is... I don't know where to start! I'm just recreating a few paintings by Angelique Houtkamp (yes, I'm obsessed, shutup) and I know she uses mostly acrylic & watercolor, but mainly watercolor.

I'm just wondering, like, what I should use?

Probably watercolor paper would be best right? Because I was thinking to use coffee to stain the backgrounds..

Do I need a medium or whatever ...

I saw The Orphange on friday night & I really enjoyed it. It's spanish with subtitles and kind of a horror. It was a bit creepier being in spanish. It wasn't too bad, altho I jumped a few times.

Spoiler: I thought the sack-head Thomas kid was SO CREEPY! Not that he was deformed but the whole sack thing ...

I'm hopefully gonna be ordering some more NYX stuff soon so I want to what stuff you girlies have tried and would recommend!

I already know I'll get at least one of the jumbo pencils since I love the one I have, and maybe some more of the Ultra Pearl Manias since you can't beat 99 cents for such a great product! I have a few other things in mind too but want to hear what other people like from NYX.

Ahkay, so, I got the 12 color Ben Nye Lumiere palette and it's godly. The colors are [I'm too lazy to right now, but I'll do swatches and stuff in a little while]:

Ice: Shimmery white. You could use a tiiiny bit of hit for a highlight or for your inner corners, or you could use a ton and make it supah bright.

Iced Gold: Champagne-ish gold. I'm not actually really feeling this one. It looks SO FREAKING GORGEOUS ...

Ok I LIVE IN SCOTLAND. General weather is grey and wet and not very hot. Even when it is "hot & sunny", it's really not.

I was wearing thick black tights when I tried them on but I'm not sure. I would need something. I really don't think I can go with just them. I'd get flu.

He sounds like what Edgar Allen Poe might sound like if he suddenly began singing caberet.

There's alot of clanging pianos and organs which compliment his really rough scratchy voice.

You must read the lyrics! They're more stories than songs really.

He cites the Dreseden Doll's Amanda Palmer as one of his main influences so that also gives you an idea of how he sounds. He even has a cover of Missed Me.

It was �18 but it was �2 in the sale!

I have the earrings and bracelet that match it.

Okay so my sister just got a job working at Betsey Johnson a few weeks ago. It's only been about one full week of working and she's already gotten two dresses for free! One of them was the free dress they give every employee when they start working... ANY dress in the store for free! And the other one came in damaged, so she got it. So I assume you all know how parts of my hair are pink. Well they've faded a considerable amount, and I wanted my natural hair color back. So I went out and bought some dye that was almost the exact shade of the rest of my hair.

I decided to not bleach the pink out and just dye over it. 30 minutes later I'm staring at light pink hair and the rest was lightened a few shades and turned gold-ish.

I'm going to go pick up some more hairdye tomorrow. Does anybody have any ideas what to ...

So I'm pretty much in love with them. I've tried about four of the seven they make and I keep going back. They've really been the only mascaras I will use until the tube is empty; I NEVER do that! The prices are amazing since the mascaras range from $4.69-$6.99, there's about five colors to choose from, and you can get every formula in waterproof if you want (I dont like waterproof so I've never tried those out).

Pros:

I love the way it makes my lashes look, plumps'em'up, and my bottom lashes are fabbbb.

The bottle is cute, I love the highlighter color and stuff.

It's only $6, so that's a big plus.

Cons: UGHH! THE SMELL OMG THE SMELL.

SICK. SICK. SICK.

The end of the brush is kindof sharp... So it kindof hurts.. Idk.

It's def worth checking out, I like it, but I don't know if I'll buy it again.

I like switching up mascaras though, I haven't found one ...

This shit pisses me off...seriously. It doesn't even come close to giving my lashes the look I want. I have this weird thing where the lashes on my left eye are shorter than my right, so I need a mascara to make my lashes look even. This stuff makes the right long, up to my brow, and does nothing for the left.

Besides that, its hell to remove [as most of CG's waterproof mascaras are]. The first time I tried to take it off, one of my lashes were yanked out. I've never had this problem with ...

Yes, yes, we all know how I've bashed it and bad-mouthed it.

Well...... I love it now!

The reason I couldn't apply my Studio Tech with it was because I wasn't using the right technique. I learned how to use the brush about a month and a half ago and since then, I'm in love!

I normally use a cream foundation and I take the 187, swirl it in the compact with light pressure to get some product on the brush, stipple the foundation on my face and then buff.

I get SUCH a streak-free ...
