| Sooo I've been to invited to a toga party, which is at the end of the month. I want to make my own, and my friend wants me to make her one too. I was just wondering if anyone knew an easy way to make a light, feminine toga? I sketched out a few designs I had in mind. I'll post them when I'm not feeling lazy. |

| Thanks for the link, Keeks. Do you suppose if I made a circle skirt type thing that would be billow-y enough for a toga? Well, I guess it would sort of defeat the purpose. Hmph. I'll come back to this later. |

| I made my friend a sexy, girly toga for a party (she was dressed as Venus, Goddess of Love).
I took a pink double sheet and folded it in half lengthwise, then cut out a hole for her head. I stuck it over her head, then tied it at the waist with a cord. I "puffed" it a bit, then pinned (with safety pins) the hem so it was a bit shorter. I tied the shoulder parts with gold cord (with tassels for flare).
Not the best photo, but this will give you an idea:
