plastic stitch canvas

I bought some squares of plastic canvas for stitching as I thought I could make some pendants or earrings or something but am finding it hard to find shapes rather than just filling the square...

anyone used this stuff and wanna offer advice? all of the websites ive googled seem a bit...nyeh.

How are you using it? Everytime I've used it I would stitch it with yarn, so you can do that
I have no idea how I was supposed to use it so I was like lalalalalalaa i have a new bookmaaaarrkkkkk lol

like, with different colored yarn I would draw a picture on the canvas Razz

yes, i know how to use it with the stitching and stuff.

ive done it before years ago, as mum and i made a pack of christmas tree decorations but they were in a kit years ago so i dont remember how to get the shapes.

what i wanted was websites with shapes because i dont want to just do a square, i want to know how to do shapes. eg. cut out shapes, not just shapes within the square. i want to look into it before i go and try it myself.

My mom used to do plastic canvas all the time. She would just draw on the canvas itself to create shapes.

I think you should be fine just drawing on it. You could plan it out on graph paper first like on this site:

Wish I could help better but I've never used it other than in at school years ago.
