I saw Leesha wearing one on her videos and I loooove hello kitty so thought I'd have a look for one for myself!

So yes...what I'm looking for is this:

My first stop was ebay but most of them are from Hong Kong and I'm not happy about buying from there...I'm bad enough with ebay from someone in the UK Razz

So I thought I'd ask just in case anyone knew!

I'm going to go to this little shop in the city centre which used to sell all this asain stationary and had lots of hello kitty stuff. they now sell jewellery rather than stationary and stuff so I'll go there...

Also will it be worth looking in China Town when I'm in New York? Hehe I'm sorry I ask so many questions but I really dunno about these places...and the guild books don't exactly answer the types of questions I want! And heeeey at least you girlies can feel useful!

But yeh if anyone knows anywhere, like a shop that sells them...that isnt in hong kong...share! Very Happy

I've seen those in ChinaTown in Toronto, so you should look in New York. If you don't find one, I can look next time I'm in China Town myself and grab one for ya!

I would've loved to do a package swap, but cash is suuuuuuuper tight at the momo.... Sad

Anyhow, yeah. I'll keep a look out (there are asian stores in my city downtown, and I can have a lookie there one day).

Why don't you get one from the official Sanrio store? Not sure if they'll have Sanrio stores where you are, but for sure they would in New York...cause they do here in Illinois which is not even that big of a state.

I think I vaguely recall her saying something either in a video or on the mac livejournal that she got it in California somewhere? I think at a Sanrio store.

i think ill check chinatown over sanrio shop...for the main reason a necklace on that website is about $30-$40 and they dont have the one i posted...if i can get the same/similar for a lot cheaper...me thinks id rather Razz

shaaaauna, did you have any idea how much the necklace was from your place? cos i couldnt find one (we sadly didnt have much time for chinatown...guess ill need to go back!)
but yeh i just wondered with postage etc and then how id pay you for your sweetness!

I have that necklace...well, the middle stone on the bow is light pink like the rest of it but apart from that its exactly the same.
I got it last year from the september fair (Its basically a fair, but in the city centre they set up a load of market stalls) from a little asian stall. It was £15 I think and it is soooo pretty. Do you have anything like that in Edinburgh? Its probably worth checking out local markets and stuff =]
