Ok my Nipple piercing gets infected very often. I got it about 3/4 year ago. I disinfect it every day but there is still matter and sometimes it hurts(when I disinfect it).
When I went to the Piercer again he said that would be normal when someone doesn't have a good wound healing(like me). It isn't swollen or something like that and it looks very good(no blood or something)
What do you think? Should I take it out? Or maybe whait a bit more?

it's called Octenisept for wounddisinfection, got it from the piercer.

It hurts. I reckon more than a tattoo, but the pain is over in a second, then it's a dull ache. Still, I didn't cry, so it's still nothing you can't handle.

Ha I was about to come here and ask how much a nipple piercing hurt.

I'm considering getting it done...I'm not quite sure. I've thought about it before and got back into thinking about it again. I've had my lip done before and my scaffold bar. I take it they don't numb it at all? hehe I'm a bit of a pussy.

Anyone willing to tell me like...everything about it?

Everything. I know how much it hurts has been said/is kind of relative to the person. But usually I just like reading other peoples stories about getting it done. I spent an hour or so last night reading bmezine stuff about it. I like know exactly how its done and stuff.

I think I might get my nose before my nipple...nipple still kinda scares me a tiny bit. Is it as scary as it seems? Razz

I was scared before I got my nipple pierced too!
But then I was like "Ok today I get it!" andd an hour later it was there*lol*.
When she got the needle trough it, it was just a second of pain.
The worst part was cleaning it the other day because the blood was crusted. It didn't bleeded that much but it was still painfull.
After three weeks I had to go to the piercer again so she could take a look at it, if it was ok and everything.

And my piercing does not get infected anymore woop

Aw that's good.

See I think...ok I'd be a complete pussy about the actual piercing because I always am but particularly with the nipple, it's possibly more the thought of it bleeding and being puss-y that is a bit worse for me.

I keep thinking about how like your lip is just fatty stuff and thats easy and my ear was nothing but ooooh you can feel your nipples and stuff. haha.

Have you tried rinsing it in salt water?

Put warm water in a bowl, add a tablespoon or so of salt and let it dissolve. Stick your nipple in it (might be best accomplished by leaning over a table or something) and stay there for 5 minutes or so. That should help it heal better.

As for pain:

My friend (who has multiple tattoos, stretched lobes, scrotum piercings, etc) wanted me to go with him to get his nipple pierced. He cried like a baby. and said it was the most painful thing he ever experienced.

I didn't think it was bad enough to cry over, but painful. Mine bled a bit. And it throbs a lot afterwards and you instinctively walk around everywhere covering your nipple with your hand, ready to punch anyone who walks into you with their shoulder!!! Lol
