Style a Snowy... Next up: The Shoe Problem!

...or, more precisely, help me find an outfit...

I just got two VIP-Tickets for a charity-soccergame in Juli.
A lot of germanys Soccerplayers will be there, plus some tv-stars and other celebs.
So, I need something to wear which won´t look cheap or tacky.
I´d like a dress, but it can´t be too fancy.
I need something casual enough for a soccergame and fancy enough for the aftershowparty.
And there always is the question of shoes. Ballet flats? Sandals?

As most of you probably know my style is kind of unusual, I lover everything vintage, everything with unexpected little quirks and twists.

Help me girlies! Í´ll send you all a sexy soccerplayer in return, okay? :-D

why not a wedge? nothing too high of course [kind of like the one in my post in shopping]. comfy, and your legs would look fab. you could always wear a shirt dress and maybe dress that up, too.

I can picture you in one of those really pretty funky dresses, with the wild, 70's-inspired prints. Probably like an empire waist or something. Sort of baggy sleeves. Might be cute.

Then have a nice bag (maybe like sort of over-sized in a solid color) and some cute strappy sandles. Since the dress is funky on its own, keep the jewelry to a minimum and stick to basics like a cuff bracelet or a couple rings or a long necklace.

Well, that's what I would wear, haha. Sorry if you totally hate my idea.

Kayla, no I love your suggestion! I´m not that into big prints because I look fat in them most of the time, but cut-wise, thats what I will probably go for.
Hana, yes I could probably do that... change in the car or something... and accessories is a good point.

What do you think about this dress?

Maybe I could gather it up for the soccergame and wear a pair of denim shorts underneath and loose the shorts for the evening? If its not too short, that is...
And I´m thinking chunky bangles paired with maybe one long pendant necklace?

And for shoes, maybe those?

I think the aftershowparty will be outside, so there may be some walking on grass involved, which will make heels a bit tricky. Plus, I´m quite tall anyway, so I feel like an elephant in heels most of the time...

I love the dress. I definitely think shorts might be a good idea if you're all into the game, kicking around, having feet up, etc.

the funny thing is that was the shape I was thinking of for the dress! especially in the sleeve.

You could even rock bermudas with that...any short, really...it would look really pulled together and classy.

For shoes, I was thinking of brown flats, because I´d like to cinch the dress with a thin brown belt because frankly, it makes me look pregnant as it is...
