dress for themed dance help

we have a wlecome back to school dance on wednesday and its fancy dress- i wanna go as columbia and i have the dress im about to post, a black corset, can obtain fishnets and sutff.. i also ahve a frilly black skirt and a pink and white petticoat, a vest, mum ahs a walking stick i could borrow, top hats are easy to find...

can anyone help with costume ideas, and can one of you sewing gurus give me a tip how to make it have a ore sexy neckline?

the front lenght is how long i want it to be.

i shortened it and removed the straps Very Happy

i also made the back like, curved like a tail coat.

woo!

and the slits aup the side are massive now so that my petticoat will fit under it and be all cool and frilly.

Cool! If you haven't done the neckline, I'm sure you could just take the straps off and lengthen them and then reattach (which will make the neckline less high up), then ruche (SP) it so it's got a sort of sweetheart neckline. Which by the way, makes boobies look great.

Damn school dances! Wear it to a club and watch people's eyes fall out! O_o Or a family reunion-you'll get the same effect, just not as positive! Unless a hot family's friend is there . . . :-)

and I'd wear some heels and and a bow tie on your neck. =)

and if it's the fishnets that make it too well risque, go with regular black nylon stockings, but not those really dark dark ones, so it kinda looks like a tiny fishnet, yes?
